Project objectives and challenges

Neztfrequenz GmbH is a innovative management and technology service provider specialised in planing, implementing and hosting of digital solutions for information management, campaign management and marketing.

The initial objective of the partnership between Neztfrequenz GmbH and Technopark was to enable flexible access to software development resources for low costs.

With growing requirements of its clients towards the complexity of the software solutions Neztfrequenz GmbH was forced to invest more and more highly skilled programmers.

Within the projects special skills in the development of response tracking techniques and additional know how of the advertising business as well as knowledge of address management were required.

Furthermore, a broad knowledge in a high range of programming languages, application servers and database servers depending on the clients specifications was required.

Outsourcing steps
  • Minimising the risk of the investment Netzfrequenz  GmbH decided to test the qualities of Technopark in an initial project.
    For the development of a Java-based marketing information system Technopark recruited the developers according the required skills. Furthermore Technopark provided the offices and the communication infrastructure. Netzfrequenz was responsible for the creation of the system specification and the project management.
  • After the successful implementation of the system at a German car manufacturer Netzfrequenz GmbH decided to strengthen the co-operation with Technopark through a strategic partnership.
  • Combining the Netzfrequenz’s marketing ad management expertise with Technopark’s high quality and low cost  technology skills, Netzfrequenz GmbH launched further solutions for campaign management and sales automation.
  • As  an result of a successful and profitable partnership Netzfrequenz decided to found its own subsidiary in Kaunas. Due to the fact that the whole programming team was contracted at Technopark there were no problems to switch the whole team to the new company.
    Technopark consulted and supported Netzfrequenz GmbH in all issues regarding the foundation of the subsidiary.
Result:

Starting with a two-man programming team in 1999 UAB "Net Frequency" employs today over 40 software developers possessing expertise in all state-of-the-art programming technologies and techniques.
Technopark still operates business services for accounting, recruitment and controlling for Netzfrequenz.
